With 3 days to go until a 6 hour flight, I had to get this sorted!
As I write this, it is now 5 hours until I have to leave for my flight to Thailand and it looks like I have managed it.
Marketing is easy when you are feeling great and you are in your groove however during this time it is all too easy to take your health for granted.
It is only when you cannot work, you realize what you have lost.
This is where I found myself over the last few weeks, I measure my illness by my interest in working online. During this time, I had absolutely no interest in firing up my PC!
The head cold with blocked sinuses resulted in the need to take time off work to recover. The cold then transformed into gastric flu which took my misery to a whole new level.
With only a week until I was due to fly to Thailand for the MOBE Titanium Mastermind, I had to find a solution. Unable to visit a doctor or pharmacy, my only alternative was the mobile Internet.
If you are going to look for health advice on the Internet, only use authority sites as the general web regardless of what condition you have, will always contain a friend who died due to the symptoms you have. webmd.com, mayoclinic.org or ehow.com are good places to use.
However this is where I hit medical overwhelm with so many options which should I try. The choices ranged from Imodium or psyllium, to probiotics or bone broth whatever that is!
Having tried Imodium which is not really a cure just a way to mask the problem, I looked for a simpler process to bring a halt to my misery.
The one I opted for was bananas and brown toast.
Both of these soak up and thicken the excess intestinal water which helps to stop the misery and return the body back to its natural balance.
So what does this have to do with marketing?
To make a sale, the potential customer has to know, like and trust you before they will ever invest in what you are offering.
However with so many strategies out there to attract these people which should you try?
Forget the strategies and just be you.
Focus on keeping your solutions simple. Concentrate on developing yourself as someone who provides value and solutions to those looking for ways to resolve their problems.
It may not be sexy but neither is bananas or brown toast but I now appreciate that they work when used consistently.
